Funding Ideas

1. YA Subsidies are often available for certain programs and geographic areas. There are no guarantees, however, since the funding landscape shifts constantly. Please contact YA at 617-629-9262 or yamass@yamass.org for further inquiries.
   
   
2. YA Discounts may not be combined, but may be used in conjunction with YA subsidies. Please ask about any discounts when scheduling your program.

   BLOCK BOOKING DISCOUNT 10% off (up to $1000) the program price when eight (8) or more performances by the same artist are scheduled within the same town by one sponsor. Not applicable to residencies

3. MASSACHUSSETS CULTURAL COUNCIL (MCC) 617-727-3668, www.massculturalcouncil.org MCC funding for residencies lasting 6+ DAYS may be available through the Creative Schools Program. For events lasting 1-5 days, please see the Local Cultural Council (LCC) section below. Please contact YA for planning assistance and supporting materials.



4. LOCAL CULTURAL COUNCIL (LCC) 617-727-3668, www.massculturalcouncil.org Schools may contact their Local Cultural Council for events lasting 5 DAYS OR LESS. Please contact YA for supporting materials. YA has encouraged all LCCs in the state to look favorably upon proposals for arts programming in the schools.



5. LOCAL BUSINESSES OR SCHOOL PARTNERS YA is happy to write letters of support for proposals your school submits to funders. Please contact YA at 617-629-9262 or yamass@yamass.org for further inquiries.



6. COFFEE POND PRODUCTIONS SUBSIDIES www.coffeepond.com Coffee Pond Productions is a photography studio that offers $100 subsidies to thier school clients. Please contact 617-629-9262 or yamass@yamass.org for further inquiries.



7. TARGET GRANTS Target Stores offer arts grants to local schools. Visit your local Target or visit their website at www.target.com for more information.
